PLEASE tell me who sings “The Rain” it’s a FEMALE singer and it came out in 1986/87 time era?

I know the song is called “The Rain” and it came out sometime in the mid to late 80′s.
It was a female singer and it was NOT ORANGE juice JONES.
It’s about a girl who is breaking up with her boyfriend.
It also says something about a window in it and it is NOT I CAN’T STAND THE RAIN BY TINA TURNER OR ANY OTHER VERSION OF IT.
It also has the sounds of rainfall in it and it is a pop type song yet it is slower and sadder.
PLEASE HELP ME FIND IT!

I don’t know if this will help, the only song that I can think of is “Here comes THE RAIN again” by the Eurythmics. Hope that is the one….if not, sorry!
